Back from the ETC...

So I'm back,
after a 5 day excursion into the deep forests of South Central Tennessee,
in a town called Summertown,
which seemed very fitting for this time o' year...

check out that sweet bus from the 50's (we thinks...)

Well, honestly, I could have been in freeking Hawai'i it was so beautiful here,

in fact, it was just like being back in Hawai'i again,

outdoor shack living is something that grew fond on my heart out there,

and as time goes on,

old Suburbia just doesn't seem to cut it...

the great thing is I didn't have to travel 6,ooo miles to get there...

only 950.... : )

besides this friendly fellow, I was whispered to at every moment

by the quiet of the forest and it's speaking of it's inhabitants,

not a road or plane to be heard....

The ETC (Ecovillage Training Center) has rooms in their hostel

or you can camp on site for a nominal fee,

they have courses at specific dates on various eco-friendly topics

(check out their site for a more thorough description),

but I just came and checked it out 'in between' times with my friend KMO

from the C-Realm Podcast who resides there...

sweet visit to Stillhouse Hollow Falls State Park

ok, back to the ETC...

this place is not quite as sustainable as I thought it was going to be,

meaning, I pictured them only eating their own home grown food 24/7,

and being completely off the grid,

but the potential is right there, ready and waiting for hands to take part and make it work...

even though there is grid power there, and a satellite internet hook up,

they still have plenty of solar power and hot water hooked up

to easily go fully sustainable if need be...

These are the kinds of techniques in building from the Earth

that they give classes in...

(yeah, that's a living roof on there...)

and this ones waiting for one...

one of the the greenhouses...

this is the Hodge Podge Lodge...

lemme tell ya, going inside one of these earthen structures

to get out of the Tennessee heat,

feels sooooo good...

this is their ultra-cool

fully functional hen house...

just beautifully many-hands crafted structures,

built of eco-friendly materials...

they really are sights to behold...

which then leads us to their pinnacle work-in-progress project....

The Green Dragon...

none of these pictures can truly do it justice,

but that back left circular window frame

must be 6 feet in diameter

(a cut solid steel old water cistern....?)

the whole feeling stepping inside this structure is truly amazing,

there are many good times had and to be had in this cozy place...

how cool is this fireplace...?

so anyway, this trip was just what the doctor ordered,

as it's all 'fuel for the brain' so to speak,

as all experience is beneficial to our present and future...

thanks to all the great people involved at the ETC

especially KMO for being such a great host...

if you ever get a chance, check this place out...!

Well, yesterday happened to be a wonderfully sunny summer-like day here in Central New Jersey, and Kiki and I were fortunate enough to entertain the likes of KMO from the C-Realm Podcast at our humble abode for lunch...

What could be cooler than that?

If you're not familiar with the C-Realm Podcast, I suggest you check it out as KMO's weekly show always has on interesting guests from all walks of life, but always pertaining to Conscious Topics (the 'C' in C-Realm stands for Consciousness... : )

KMO resides at the ETC (The Ecovillage Training Center in Summertown, Tennessee) which prides itself on being " a "total immersion school" for sustainability "...

To create a more healthy and positive future scenario for us all, we all need to take steps towards living in a more harmonious way with our local environment, wherever we may happen to be located, as this present way of doing things that we all happen to be 'stuck' in and are considered 'normal', really aren't sustainable at all below their shiny/convenient surfaces as we are all becoming strikingly aware of as time progresses...

Anyway, thanks KMO for a pleasant visit and looking forward to seeing you in the near-future...!

Its all about the EYE

and what we CHOOSE to FOCUS it ON

that's why EVERYONE is trying to get your ATTENTION

and why it's so annoying when we are FORCED

to FOCUS it on somewhere you DON'T WANT TO…

WE NEED TO FOCUS on REAL things

for the TRUE CONNECTION to take place

this is why the most POWERFUL CONNECTION

is to LOOK into someone's EYES

the second is the connection you have when CREATING something

and why things are created to STEAL that connection from you

it truly IS THE MOST POWERFUL CONNECTION OF THEM ALL

TO HAVE YOUR ATTENTION

things MAN MADE CAN be beautiful

but the ones that are truly INDUSTRIAL

CORRUPT our VIEW

so the question is

"who's to say what work is INDUSTRIAL and NOT?"

the answer is simply:

"that IS the BEAUTY of the human existence,

to FIRMLY choose to act for beauty

and to be able to DISCERN how FAR is too far...

EVERYTHING MAN MADE is a PYRAMID

the PYRAMID is the simplest yet most complex 3D manifested STRUCTURE

that not only contains the blueprint of the 3D existence itself

but is a very MINDSET

which CAN only lead to EVIL

except for the fact that WE CAN CHOOSE BEAUTY

that is why EVERYTHING that is REAL is RECEPTIVE to GoODNESS

the ONLY WAY to act in true HARMONY

with THAT WHICH IS HIGHER than this PYRAMID MINDSET

is to FLOW with beauty at all times

thus creating a harmonious ENVIRONMENT

this is why we must CHOOSE BEAUTY

at ALL TIMES

this is our TRUE PURPOSE

NEVER BEFORE IN OUR RECORDED HISTORY

have there been SO MANY BEINGS who would be able to FOCUS

at a more CONSTANT rate

this very VIBRATION

this is what we must be VIGILANT against

on EVERY THOUGHT & ACT WE MAKE

and USE OUR TIME WISELY

CHOOSING WISELY what we focus on

SOME THINGS KEEP US IN THE LOWER 'ANIMAL' VIBRATION

'KEEPING YOU' from your 'HIGHER FOCUS'

(tv,movies,video games, books, etc)

ANYTHING NOT BROADCASTING BEAUTY and LIFE will do this)

we are living in a system which is a result of this LOWER VIBRATION

though those who profit tell us it's the 'HIGHEST ONE THERE IS'

well, IT'S NOT as every prophet has ever told us

yet it isn't worshipping any of the current ideologies either

it's EVEN HIGHER THAN THOSE

All of this is why I 'FOLLOW' you

#8 of the Zoodiac, and many-a-recent sync with these amazing little critters. Not to mention a first-grade memory of sitting on the steps of the slide in the schoolyard, and seeing a monstrous green dragonfly which had to be easily 9" long, hovering around me, and of course nobody would believe me when I later tried to tell of it (it wasn't quite this ugly though)...
Bear with me as this thing is coming to a close with soon to be #9,
which I'm not exactly sure what that is yet...then I can post 'The Wheel' that I keep mentioning...

So here's the latest member of the Zoodiac. It started with the idea to do an ALOHA design of some sort, and dolphins seemed to keep 'popping up' for me, which made a fine fit, as they are some of the most gentle and intelligent creatures on the planet as I'm sure you've heard before.
The 'spinner' dolphins (they literally jump out of the water and spin/twirl about) make they're much welcomed appearances on a daily basis in the various bays and coves of the islands, swimming in packs...

Those who aren't truly familiar with the true meaning of ALOHA might find it interesting here.
It is the true spirit of the Hawaiian Islands, and the more time spent amongst those who don't live by this idea, the more one becomes disempowered, and consequently is a negative influence on others...

It's time to truly surround ourselves with those people, music, books, whatever, that empower us, and give us POSITIVE strength, as that IS the constant battle which we all face on a moment to moment basis...
It's time to weed out your collections of negative influences, as interesting as they may be, they do not contribute to life in a positive way.

As Frodo looks at the One Ring in his hands and wishes it never crossed his path, Gandalf says "So do I, and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for us to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

For those who have never realized the shear genius of Robert Nesta Marley (aka Bob Marley), please enjoy the above clip as NOBODY has ever quite grooved like these guys did...Nice to see his sons are still keeping the message alive and well today.

OK, so here we go, a new blogspot devoted to our upcoming website Transcend Designs, which is basically just a remake of our current online gallery Thome Designs.
This blogspot is where new works can/will be posted and anyone can feel free to comment as they please.
The site is taking longer than usual as I've been sidetracked with a rush of some 'personal' design work that seems to keep spilling out of me and I don't want to break the flow...
Truly the best kind of artwork, the kind of artwork where no one is dictating what I draw or how to draw it...purely the Universe speaking...
Speaking of which, the 'Pheyenix' above (which was completed last night) truly took me by surprise this morning when I saw that it was none other than the 'Firebird Suite's' creators' B-day today Igor Stravinsky! Happy Birthday Igor! (It really kind of flipped me out this morning...)
